| Andrew Kelham |
| Studying contemporary Anthropology at Goldsmiths College, Andrew graduated and moved to Manchester after a year spent as an independent marketing analyst for Sony Music Europe. This role merged the contemporary skills of practical Anthropology and Ethnography with the commercial needs of a large operating body such as Sony. In Manchester he was the Head of Operations at the Centre for the Understanding of the Built Environment (CUBE), one of Europe’s leading architecture centres. He was responsible for the practical assembly, installation and curation of the Centre’s diverse range of exhibitions, platform discussions, education and community outreach activities. In February 2005 he joined URBED to assist with the community consultation work that underpins their ethos and identity as a practice. He has now been working with URBED for over a year and has worked on masterplans for Rochdale, Anfield and Breckfield and West Bar. He is currently curating Bradford’s Architecture Week for the practice alongside a tenant participation and capacity building project in Orchard Park, Hull. |
