| Stephanie Fischer |
| Stephanie is an urban designer at URBED based in the Manchester office. She originally trained as a Town & Regional Planner at the Technical University of Cottbus/Germany and now lives in Liverpool. The main focus of her work at URBED is masterplanning, urban design and regeneration of brownfield sites. She has been responsible for much of URBED’s work in Bury including the masterplans for Bury and Radcliffe town centre. She was responsible for the urban design input to the Oldham Beyond Vision, which included a borough wide urban design analysis, the town centre masterplan, the HMR area (Werneth Freehold) and work with S333 architects in Amsterdam to coordinate a series of smaller demonstrator masterplans across the borough. She has also worked on masterplans for Leeds Otley, Liverpool Housing Market Renewal and the Telford Millennium Village. Recent work includes the urban design and masterplanning input to the Selby Charter and SDF for Yorkshire Forward and Selby District Council where she also acted as project manager. Stephanie has organized public consultation events in the past for projects including Oldham, Radcliffe and Selby. She has also been working with communities in Oldham and Rochdale as part of URBED’s Design for Change workshops. |
